“I had very good experience during the event also, visiting Dubai city as it was my first visit to UAE.  I experienced the intense and high-density presentation competition during the 3 days as it was mostly customer oriented, that helped me to prepare myself for various future business customers. The award gave me my first trophy during my academic career which makes it even more memorable and it made me as well as my advisor and my whole research group proud. I have been contacted by government representatives and potential investors during the 3 days event regarding promoting the projects and potentials to be used in commercial products.”

Ren Li, Kind Abdulla University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia

“Future Generation Competition provided me a platform to showcase my idea related to energy saving solutions for Dubai Smart City. I really appreciate Middle East Electricity for giving such a wonderful opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students to present their ideas and research outcomes. It was a well-organized event, a well-received event.”

Kainat Amjad Sheikh, University of Bolton RAK Campus

“This was by far the best student competition I have participated in (having already participated in a few), because unlike the other competitions (where usually the audience are people from academia) a large portion of the audience were people from the industry.”

Ahmed A. Warsame, Rochester Institute of Technology, Dubai
